Dear Friend of Shutaf,
I would like to warmly recommend Shutaf’s impressive efforts for children and young adults with special needs here in Jerusalem, Israel. Their method of inclusion is unique and important and they are building an excellent and professional program.
From my acquaintance with the organization, I have been impressed with the work it does – providing quality leisure-time activities for children with special needs, a critical need here in Jerusalem. Shutaf also offers crucial assistance and support to the families of these children, creating a sense of community.
In the two years since the program was founded, Shutaf has successfully created a camp that offers much-needed social and educational opportunities for children with special needs together with their typically-developing peers. The organization also trains teens and young adults with special needs to work as junior counselors in the Shutaf camp
program.
Support Shutaf – either privately or through the work of your foundation. Your help will enable them grow – accepting more children and offering a wider variety of activities during camp as well as year-round.
